Moonshine Poetry is an LA-based, dark-Americana duo comprised of Paula McMath and her bandmate John McLean Allan.
Together they write songs that mine potent imagery, exploring psychological states close to the breaking point.
The musical arrangements, with acoustic instruments pushed to their gritty edge, support John and Paula’s unique vocal blend as the centerpiece.
In response to some kind of “music business prohibition” that says only income generating work has value, John and Paula have set up the “still” for their Moonshine Poetry.
